About Infrastructure Assurance

Infrastructure Assurance (Pulse) runs active tests against your SIP infrastructure—PBXs, SBCs, and trunks—using real-world scenarios. It helps you detect failures and quality issues before users notice, with full packet-level visibility and configurable check intervals.

Scenario Types

  • OPTIONS (Availability): Lightweight health checks to verify endpoints are reachable and responding to SIP.
  • Registration: Continuous trunk or extension authentication; alerts when registration fails or expires.
  • INVITE (Test Call): Full call setup and teardown to verify the call path and optional RTP collection.
  • Audio Quality (RTP): MoS, jitter, and packet loss from INVITE scenarios; available on the Audio Quality tab.

How It Works

  • Add endpoints with credentials and scenario type; Pulse runs checks on your schedule.
  • Results show success/failure, response codes, and optional packet capture for debugging.
